Curtis! You’re right, people do want us to succeed as they see themselves inside of that possibilty and realize that their turn has yet to come. We all want and need encouragement.

I’m practicing what is known as Inverse Paranoia and that means – everyone is out to help me! It’s funny how everyone I meet shows up to support my goals and dreams, especially when I’m authentic. And when I share, I find that they have the same needs too, like around the group home I’m starting for my son who is mentally ill.

We are really one family, one organism, all in the Body of Christ as has been said. When we root for another, at a deeper level, we root for ourselves and our own latent possibilities.

Your writing is always beautiful with lovely metaphors that touch the heart, and I’m certainly rooting for you!
